I was receiving almost 100+ EM notifications every day which looks like below:
DDE: Problem Key ‘ORA 3137 ’ was flood controlled (0x4) (incident: 461239)
ORA-03137: TTC protocol internal error :
ORA-03149: Invalid Oracle error code
ttcdrvdmplocation: msg-0 ln-195 reporting 3137
Dumping ‘Buffer dump info:’ addr=0x10dd05110 size=412 bytes
EM said that the incident critical. However it wasn’t.
Oracle EBS: 12.1.3
Oracle Database: 184.108.40.206
OS: Solaris Sparc 11
This is a known bug in RDBMS Client 10.1.
Where does this 10.1 come form? I am using 12.1.3 EBS with 220.127.116.11 Database?
Oracle AS 10.1.2 and 10.1.3 ( Used for Forms, Reports, Web ) also need a RDBMS client to connect to database. Both of them use RDBMS client 10.1 due to which this bug was coming.
It’s a very simple fix. Apply the below patch to Oracle AS 10.1.2 (Forms and Reports Home) and 10.1.3 (Web) using OPatch to fix the issue.
How do we apply patches to 10.1.2 and 10.1.3 ORACLE HOMEs? See the articles below for the same.
